The analog tape is first played back on a calibrated tape machine electrically and physically identical to the deck used to make it in the first place. Impedance matched custom tube amplification, mastering equalizers and dynamics processors are employed during the mastering stage to ensure that all of the sound is transferred to the digital domain.

Using crystal-clocked converters sampling at 96,000 times per second and producing full 24-bit words, all of the warmth and space of the original recording is preserved as the audio is prepared for DVD authoring and replication.

Every phase of the production is carefully conceived, executed and inspected to the highest possible standards right down to the handling and packaging of the limited-run final product.
